Yes, but you CAN'T control the timing, otherwise you're simply manipulating your partner.

This Virgo does not want to be friends with the exs. There's a reason why they are the ex. I also don't think its possible to just be friends with the opposite sex. One party always wants more.

Caved and texted him Sunday (got nothing) then Thursday, said he just got back, and was at the airport, had couple of texts, nothing much, he text me that night, asking if i got my new car yet, which was suprising. Then text him yesterday was going to call him later but found out he's shifts have changed so thought he might be tired and I had to go to dinner with a friend aswell, so texted him later "wanted to call but had to go to dinner"":/". That was lastnight, Now Don't even think I want to follow up and try and call him tonight. Maybe he does need space, I just hope he comes back thought think i know he won't, so hard leaving this alone but trying to be brave.
Personally speaking, when i go in my shell its usually because i am not interested. To me, if i am interested, i will let you know UNLESS i think you will never be interested. Then i will keep it as a secret but if i feel like the person is interested, i will do the same. If i'm not, i wont give any hopes. The hard to get part is kind of iffy. In the beginning its cool. But there is a limit. Eventually ill think you're not interested and wont bother unless we think we have the ability to change other persons mind? But in the end, we like honesty and being straight forward. These games get realllly annoying.

I really like this post! I look really young for my age as well. It's because my metabolism wouldn't slow down and I'm stuck on 90 IIbs with a 5'3 height. At first I thought it was my mongolian genes, bit my cousins are aging beautifully. lol Also, I have a babyface so that doesn't help me. Although others would love to look young and I don't mind either, it's disadvantageous when it comes to work. Who cares about love at this point. I hardly ever get supervisor positions that I apply for no matter how experienced and well suited I am for the position because they think I'm a kid. Since the employer can't take me seriously, they figured neither will my subordinates. Even with jobs, my employers don't trust me with difficult/challenging task. They always give me the tedious an easy task that even a grade 3 student can do. Although people envy me for getting the easier tasks, I personally hate it because it really undermines my potential and insults my intellect and capacity. Looking young has its advantages in certain aspects of life, but not in your professional life. I wonder what's gonna happen whenI start hitting the courts as an advocate!
I can understand the OP's frustration with looking young, although not in the same way. I have become a cougar in a way because younger guys are attracted to me thinking I'm their age; meanwhile I have absolutely no interest in younger men.
Look up "Peter pan gene". A British study talks about people who look young. Although it's a single study and may not have anything concrete in it, I still found comfort on it.
