European societies to begin with. If there are no guns circulating in the society you're obviousely not gonna have one pointed at you during a rape or burglary.
I live in Sweden where most people know what a gun is, but very few have actually seen one. The only armed people here are hunters (I've never even seen a hunter in my life!) and motocrycle gangs who mostly keep the violence between themselves.
Also, you could watch Michael Moore's Bowling For Columbine. It shows the difference between America and the rest of the world, in terms of gun violence. Though I can already tell you are probably one of those conspiracy people who thinks he pulled all his statistics out of his ass just so that he could make his case.
But ok, the question was not whether or not criminals carry guns. We were discussing whether or not a gun is a good self-defence choice. I for one think most of you reason like little children. I think it's funny how many people consider themselves able to shoot a person in self defense as if it's the easiest thing in the world. Using common sense is the only self-defense I rely on.
It's like saying that the death penalty has a deterrent effect, which has been proven wrong (studies by Amnesty International) because the societies where people are killed in the name of the law are also the most violent ones.

No we did not communicate. When I move on I have to cut it all off. I have a strong feeling he was thinking about me and something within me knew he'd come back one day. I knew he'd come back and make no mention of the very things that made me cut him off. I was correct, he didn't. Since I have no intention of going back to where we were I made no mention of it as well. I had a great time with him and that's that. Maybe he just genuinely missed me and now that he's seen me he's satisfied with that. I'm just glad we're back on speaking terms.

I have a male Pisces friend and we get along very well. There are a few Pisces females that I like as well. But there was this one who was cuckoo! My sister is a Pisces but I'm wayyyy older than she is and she's a little cuckoo as well! My son is a Pisces with a Gem rising and that little one is so very funny! I see a very sensitive side in him but I also see his rising as well. He's going to be a heartbreaker someday that one. So all in all I think the two signs can get along for the most part. That cuckoo Pisces I mentioned in the beginning; she got on my nerves! I tried to stay away from her as she could stay stuck on a situation for far too long. She would sound like a broken recorder.... LOL!

Hello Aries! First of all, I like Aries. You guys are cool to talk to and so damn funny! Especially when you guys are venting about someone or something! My father and sister are Aries so I understand you guys pretty well. Plus an Aries man is the ideal type of guy that I WANT to date. Ex: Jesse McCartney. Such a man LOL
Anyways, I met a March 21st Aries-Pisces cusp about a week ago. I wasn't thinking much about it. I was just trying to play volleyball with my other friends (he was on my team) but after we got done playing volleyball, I just started asking him questions to get to know him as a person. We kept talking and talking (Again, wasnt thinking too much about it) Even when my other friends left, he continued on talking to me. I'm a shy person when I meet someone new. It??s up to the other person to keep up with the conversation. He did! Great listener too. My wall went completely down. I felt like I could talk to him about anything. He's so damn funny too! Made me laugh the whole time. Well, he had to leave because he was with his friends, but he asked if I was going to a friend's party tonight. I told him yes and he should come!
Fast-forward: I'm at the party. He doesn't come til later. We dance and make out (privately). He asked me for my number. I give it to him. I told him I don't really like contacting the guy first, but he assured me if he's busy, he's busy, but we'll make time to see each other (that made me smile!) Party is over. He asked me if I wanted to come over to his place. I said yes. As we were talking while walking to his place, we had some many connections with each other. It was really interesting. Both kind of had the same background, interest, music taste, etc. Even when were hooking up (we didnt have sex or oral), we just kept talking to each other, having more connections! He kept reassuring me to stop being shy and just talk to him (that was really damn cute) We slept in each other's arms the whole night. Kept talking and hooking up when we woke up. After that, he gave me a ride home.
