So, me and the Virgal were talking. Specifically, emotional problems and diagnoses when we were in high school. (we went to the same high school, she was a freshman, I was a senior) I had depression, I think it was called Dysthymic Depression? I think it was temporary or something, anyway, after that it was anxiety. My Virgal said she was diagnosed with depression, anxirty, and Borderline Personality Disorder. BPD seems like a disorder just from the sound alone that might be characterized with crminals or violent types of people so I looked it up. It's not, it seems to be more common with personal relationships. Feelings of abandonment, self inflicted wounds/thought processes, etc. Those aren't all the symptoms of course, but it most definitely stuck in my mind. she had said that it was back when she was a teen when she was diagnosed, and she does display narcissistic tendencies, such as vanity, and arguments seem to be about her even when the situation may not even involve her. I'm starting to see the feelings of abandonment. she was super stressed almost a month ago about things outside our relationship, and she up and decided she was going to live with a married female friend for a month 2-3 states away. She then expected me to be cool with it and maintain a long distance relationship. I contested this decision, while her own emotional stability is important, I didn't feel she was taking mine in account. She ended up going there for 4 days, but returned after 2 and a half cuz she said she missed me. Which was sweet. Earlier arguments before this and for a short time after, where I would become too overwhelmed with my emotions, I would suggest we wait until the flared emotions die down so we can have a civil conversation. this usually works but not always. it usually ends up flaring it up more no matter what i do, i usually maintain myself from flipping out. it's really hard sometimes though. It's gotten to the point where i'll request we take a break. (not a break up) basically I mean, I'll cool down, you cool down, take a few days and we'll re-organize our thoughts and talk again. She usually takes this as me breaking up with her or something. she usually says she feels like she's losing me and gets very emotional. But in hindsight, she never exihibited this type of behavior before we got together. she was always a collected girl, intellectual, a gamer, and a ball buster. She's done a 180. What do you guys think?
all I know is that I suck badly at understanding them, as well as many other. Though I have Mars and Saturn in Scorpio and Lilith in Pisces, my stellium in Gemini and Moon in Aquarius are baring me from 'feeling' them.
I met a guy online on a dating site, and though we were having interesting and funny discussions at the beginning, once the 'relationship' become deeper, he started detaching, playing hide and seek or dissapearing for weeks. Between these long periods of pause, we have again nice, sometimes erotic conversations and witty debates. The guy is smart and has an incredible sense of humor; he is reallz charming when he wants to. But damn those periods when is says nothing, missing or staying like the crocodile waiting and observing. Anyway, is very difficult to me to imagine what the hell he's doing during these times. I know he is deeply unsatisfied by his job, personal life and just life in general, has long periods of depressions and discouragement but I can't help not torturing myself thinking and trying to understand the situation, due to my analitical and curious nature.
Maybe you guys can help me.
For instance, when I push it a little more into initiating a conversation with him, either he gets laconic or he's exuberant, like eager to talk and pour his grievences out; but sometimes when I refuse to even aknowledge his presence (I'm a very proud person, BTW and I get tired of taking so much bullshit), he starts sending various signals, like visiting my profile, setting new, too intimate, weird pictures at his profile or like last time, posting a weird, very depressing little videos that include details and aspects that are definitely linked to our discussions. Sooo.. WTF does he wants, cause though I like him a lot, I got sick of this game and I'm definitely not the person to insist when it comes about a man. My pride won't allow it.
Another new feature of this all business is that after stopping paying attention to him, he is online continuously. And I have the feeling that he is not in permanent contact and talking with other women. Anyway, I think is hard for everyone to put up with his temperament and moods, not just for me.
So, is this 'affair' just in my head? there are already 4 months of this game and though he invited himself at the beginning at my place (I refused, of course, because I usually take things slowly), since the things got hotter, he doesn't even mention going out together.

I know I challenge him every day and keep him on his toes. Our relationship has caused him to expand his perceptions, leave his comfort zone, and face fears that he might otherwise have avoided.

Any idea on how Cancer-Leo Cusp Female & Leo Man would turn out?
Let me add that she's July 21st (Cancer) and I'm Aug 12 (Leo)!
