I am a sucker for grammar. Can't stand bad grammar. But I must say I'm not a native English speaker, so I guess I make quite a lot of mistakes, but I will google something when I'm not sure. In my own language? ooooh, I take grammar serious. It's one of my pet peeves. But on message boards and in texts it's okay to use slang in my opinion.

I speak 5 languages, but only write and read 3 of them properly ... see this is where I doubt whether it should be 'proper' or 'properly'click to expand
Both are gramatically correct I would think. Slight difference...
If you say "Write proper English" it puts the emphasis on what is being written, namely proper English.
or "Write English properly" puts emphasis on how to write the English...properly.
If that makes sense

The few people that I have trusted have all betrayed me...and I let it happen. Head in the sand and too trusting.
Dear Feby, you can not possibly beat yourself up over an event which has already passed. Punish yourself not, the betrayal occurred.
Now it is about you, and how you will move on from this experience, how you will be able to use this to your advantage as a lesson.
Take a step back to review what occurred, try to see where you went wrong, where they went wrong.
File all that information away, head up, chin up, stand tall and preserver on.
Drawing the closed case out, when necessary, should it become so in the future.

Oh, here in comes a Protective Aqua.
I've been busy working... with my Taurus man. One night, a typical Leo, we want the truth and we won't stop digging until we're satisfied. Well, I thought I caught my Taurus man lying, so I told him, "I'm DONE! D-O-N-E! DONE! and expect a call from my attorney to dissolve this business!" and hung up on my Taurus.
He lives 20 mins away with no traffic and that's if one is driving 65-70mph. Not even 5 mins after I hung up on the poor guy, he was calling me at my front door, asking if he could see me... WTF?!?!
I asked him if he's lying again and he started bawling his eyes out begging to see me. I didn't have the heart to say no. So I let the poor guy in. My heart sank. He looked like he just lost his best friend and hugged me so tight and started sobbing saying he can't loose me.
We went into the living room. We hugged tighter. My heart sank deeper. He cried and sobbed and he kept saying, "I don't want to loose you".... I held his face with my 2 hands and looked into his eyes and gave him a kiss. He asked me if this was a kiss to say good bye and I didn't say a word. I just kept kissing his beautiful face. Kissed it all over and over and over. Then he wrapped his legs around me and picked me up and pulled me closer to him and held me me tight. I then turned around and wrapped my legs around him and now, we're facing each other and we just held each other for a very long time. While we were holding each other tightly, I was kissing him on his neck, his cheek, his lips, ever so lightly and he just let me. And he kept saying, "I don't want to loose you" and would cry intermittently and bury his face on my neck and lightly kissing it. Then after about 30 mins, I asked him how fast he was driving and he said, "you don't want to know". All I could think of was thank God nothing bad happened to him... that he didn't get into an accident.
And no, he wasn't around or near my house because I heard his dogs barking in the background right before I hung up on him. All he kept saying is, "I didn't lie, I would never lie to you. I will protect you. I would never hurt you." "I care so much about you, more than you'll know".
We made up since then. His action spoke volumes. It's not the reaction I was after and it was unintentional on my part... I wasn't expecting such a reaction... my intention was to find out the truth about certain things and when I thought he'd lied, I was going to dissolve our business and move on with my lif
