I get that. Really. I do. Some people wear their honor like a badge--you are one of those I have noticed. I actually thought you were an honorable person as well. Because you act like one most of the time.
However if you honestly believe that being an ass is OK just because we are on the NET or if you think civility stops once you put a keyboard between you and me, then I am starting to see your honor as superficial. Sorry, but true.

I'll tell you why... because I've had feelings for him for almost a year and holding it in was making me more frustrated, so I wanted to get this off my chest. And that is exactly what I said to him when I said I like him, that I wasn't trying to force him into anything. And then he said I shouldn't hold it in if that's how I felt. Was it pointless to tell him my feelings? Probably YES, but I'm better off being honest with him. If a person doesn't feel for you then telling him isn't going to magically change that, so I'm not sure how that is even manipulation.
I think there is a difference between telling someone your feelings for them, and coming off pushy afterward (to me). The latter is what I'm trying to avoid. I've made no mention of my feelings for him since a month ago when we had that conversation. I took a chance of him backing away completely when I told him my feelings. Now that he's fine with it, I don't want to do anything to make him want to end our friendship too. That's all.
And to everyone else, thank you for your advice. I haven't been contacting him other than this one time when I asked his opinion on something. I think it's better to not contact him unless I have something meaningful to say anyway, so I will back off..

I agree with Nikki on the Libra test thing. When they are busy you have to get busy. I never get more calls and messages than when I'm out having a good time with the girls. It is extremely attractive to them that you have an active social life even though they will pout and try to make you cancel your plans for them. If you freak out and start texting them and calling them and complaining about the amount of time you spend together it is the surest way to get them to exit stage left.
I have just started keeping things light as air with him and it works wonders for our relationship. Sweetens him right up and has him wanting to spend time with me as opposed avoiding me because I'm going to corner him into a "talk" about the relationship. well, I haven't met him in person yet. I doubt I will. He is just too young for me. However from the taste of things, I already am experiencing his intensity. I get "Good nights" at night and just this morning, "Good Morning!" text.
