Exactly, because when you meet this more compatible individual, which people do (not a case of a lusty/hormonal event but a sleepy side of oneself that is finally discovered, it happens) what ever should happen or not happen, the marriage will be affected. All these years, with two individuals whom built this foundations of a commitment, this one event may unravel things, some may be able to move past it and let it go, others may see it as a long awaiting breeze of fresh air to find their own happiness.

@Sagtastic1 He was all over me like a rash i told him im not interested because i genuinely was not at first and played hard to get he loved it. He would try to get physical with me trying to kiss me invade my personal space he told me he wanted to wife me, fuck me live with me, have children with me, (pretty babies he said lol) and that we would make the perfect couple!! i made it crystal clear to him the type of woman i am from day x and stuck to my guns lol he eventually respected that and started to show interest in me as a person, because he knew he could not gas up my head and turn me out impossible!! he started to grow on me being the reason i gave him my number, i still feel like he had a hidden agenda to just fuck me and done wham bam thank you mam came saw conquered hell no amigo lmao

Well I choose NOT to be selfish. Which the entire idea is reeking of... selfishness is the root of almost all things that are bad and or negative in this world. And I absolutely HATE selfishness of any kind period.

Yeeeah, insecurity is the root of most of the stories that you hear here about the "crazy" variety here.
It's why you see decent ones self sabotage, the douche variety cheating/flirting/acting questionable in their relationships, and the confusing ones pulling their usual crap. It's all rooted in insecurity. They have to have many back ups because insecurity leaves them hating being alone. They feed lines of bs and try to save face because insecurity doesn't allow them to deal with the fact someone doesn't like them and thinks they're an asshole. Rinse and repeat.
Overall, they're cool people as a whole, but I think that insecurity is what makes life difficult for them.
@aqua, your example made me lol. I've had to deal with that before. Wtf is with that double standard? They can have a lot of female friends, but if you have a bunch of guy friends, watch out! That's not cool!
