when i asked him about him being married his reply was "well i mean i still had on my ring so i wasnt hiding it." but coming from my perspective dudes my age now adays wear rings for fashion so i mean i saw it but i never really paid it any attention because i mean being my age somebody being married never tried to talk to me and i guess being sort of nieve i just didnt think it would ever happen. so he kept asking me what do i want to do its all up to me on were were going and so i stayed knowing everything i know now because the love i have for him is surreal....

he still is married and its something that we just never talk about or bring up.. i just dont know what to do i dont want him to leave me nor do i want to just be in denial for the rest of my life not knowing where we're going with this. i would give anything for him to just tell me what he wants with me instead of dragging me along and ignoring me or yelling at me whenever i bring up the topic of his wife. any advice ??click to expand

A character said this in a book I was reading and it made me go "hmmmmm". Then I started pondering on it and I can actually see how this could be the case at times.
They say caps are very patient people and yes, patience is a virtue.
But, could too much patience (like waiting YEARS on a promotion or a man to propose) be misguided and become cowardice if one is afraid to make a change?
Any thoughts?
I believe that... too much patience is an excuse to do nothing about it, knowing full well what you were hoping for, eventually won't even matter. Lazy?

I think this woman is way order than she says she is.
There might some pathology there as well. Maybe she can write and is brilliant in many ways but socially she's a bit challenged.
And her ego won't let her see its her and not the world or men so ofcourse its the sexually attractive people to her that have the problem with her success and not shortcomings because that would mean she wasn't good at something.
And her attempts to correct it have not worked.
