I hate to keep rehashing the back story but it will give more insight. I was in fwb type of thing with this taurus guy. After a few months his child's mother moves in with him. He said it was nothing between them. I gave the benefit of the doubt but his actions were similar to a married man. Fast forward: I told him not to contact me anymore. He insists that he loves me. After a few posts and advice I ignored him hoping to rid myself of him. He still called and texted on a regular basis. Recently, I answered a call from him. I told him I had a boyfriend hoping to deter him. His response was "naw I know u wouldn't leave me like that". He said he wasn't too far and could he stop by. I go to his car. He's telling me how much he misses me and says he needs me. He asked me to be patient with him and his situation and I shouldn't give up on him.
First I thought taurus don't cheat on people they really love.
Second I don't understand the persistence with me and I have clearly told him where I stood regarding his situation.
Even if the woman leaves I don't want him in that way. If he cheated on her he could do the same to me.

Also, I met with him yesterday and it was a very good meeting.
He said he fucked up and really regrets his decision. That he wouldn't have made the decision if he were in a more stable position. I told him I can be there for him 100% as a friend, but can't be there for him ever again as a gf because I can't trust that the next time he goes through a difficult time he won't make another rash decision that hurts me.
We talked for five hours and it was really therapeutic since he hasn't spoken to anybody else. He needed to purge a lot of repressed feelings.
After he texted me and said he was so happy and appreciative we met and it's the best he's felt in a long time. That made me happy!
