* placing too much enphasis on your sun sign while dating. There are other ways of looking at a date than *wasting time* because you arent climbing the mountain or bettering yourself somehow. If you really view going on dates as a waste of time, its only because you view the end result as not worth it. Sex, I can tell by your pic that you could have any guy at a bar at will, no co-dependancy issues with you, by the way you express yourself you're confident an financially stable, so if you're dating for any other reason than true love, or if you dont believe in true love, every date will be boring. Anyway, I dont like people like you. You reduce the human spirit to certain traits and your eyes dont glimmer with awe at the people that have been put in your path. Everyone has an inner freak, dream, passion, or emotional response that makes them unique and amazing, if you cant see that while dating, and it doesn't make your heart beat faster with excitement to know the person infront of you is willing, and is probably aching to share themselves with you....... then youre just a pretty face with lots of goals....

I'm sorry but there is no distinction in selfishness. What because you wouldn't get involved with a guy in the first place because you don't come first, selfishness makes you more morally right? Aries what do you have in your arsenal - literally or figuratively speaking?
I'm dealing in the literal. I was given a matching sawed-off shotgun and machete with the most beautiful carvings of flowers on them as a wedding present many years ago. I still have the machete and I bought a new shotgun.
But, the main reason I post this is because I want to join the gun club at my job. There's a sign-up roster going around for a competition. I am an excellent shooter. However, the amazement of men at my abilities, the always the girl in a pack of men, and I look very feminine, etc. is something I always have to overcome. I am not in law enforcement or anything. It's purely recreational.

Fine we agree to disagree but i see those under different sun signs wanting freedom and being free spirited and wanting their own way. I never saw it as exclusively this trait for aquas. It seems very egotistic.
And I don't, I've never met a woman that was okay with being alone like an Aqua woman, every Aqua I know is not married, happy, love being alone, I got hitched but I could easily live alone for the rest of my life and be content.
Every astrological sign has different qualities. We are fixed signs so we don't do what others want us to do and the same can be said about other Fixed signs.
Don't get me wrong there is a way to get an Aqua to compromise but as Truecap mentioned, it's a balance. We are fixed so it has to be a balance or resistance will prevail.
This isn't about you so yeah let's not hijack her thread.
@DMV: four of my closest friends are Virgos...two males and two females and they all exhibit the behavior you describe.
At one point in our friendships I didn't even talk about anything emotional until one day my best friend asked my why? I simply told him I noticed he's afraid of anything emotional and he admitted it but he changed. From what I see, they are great people but once they embrace the emotional aspect of life they are even greater. I've gotten some of the best emotional insight from my friend.

I think you may be right.

I had to reread this.. I do love him very much which is why it scares me that he's so stubborn..
But your point is valid and I realize this because it reminds me of my extremely stubborn Aqua father. My poor Virgo mom has been nagging my dad about selling a property for years now , and my entire family has discussed it and tried to have like an intervention about it with him lol.. Logic says to sell something that you are not profiting from, but his intuition apparently been telling him it's simply not time yet.
