I find libran men very good at lying, charmers and insincere. Not all, but the ones I have met I can see straight through. If he was a good man he wouldn't cheat on his wife.
It sounds like your hurting and thats really heartbreaking to hear. Feelings are intense for scorpios but you need to use this situation to gain control over your feelings, once you have calmed down you can start to see him for what he really is.
If you really believe in true love then what's yours will be yours. (Hopefully not this libran guy (as he is married) but anyway, what I am trying to say is you cant force someone to love you, people see what they wana see in you, if they wana see heaps of bad they will, if they wana see heaps of good they will, you cant control it through gaining their attention and competing with other women)
Just let go and work on other areas of your life and slowly things will fall into place.

New Deal was mid 1930's, at the beginning of the Roosevelt era! The Great Depression did not end till around 1940-1, when America joined the war!
