i was a physically and mentally abused woman for 10 years, so sometimes great companionship seems worth it. but my heart says have it ALL.
It's not great companionship at all if its not spiritually rewarding. Its dimply a band aid. Hence why you are asking this very question. The spirit never lies as you know that this will lead you down a path you wish not to go. The mind want to live in the past bug the heart knows better.

i got alot of affection from grandparents mostly growing up.
it doesn't have to be parents but it can be from any close relative.
if you didnt receive it, it might explain the lack of emotional availability. that's why they are considered bad in relationships.
