STVG, when my 1st scorp ex broke up with me after a while he started dating this gemini women with two kids. It was hilarious. They moved in together and were together for about a year I think.
When they broke up he called me and we screwed and than he said he wanted to get back together with her. that didnt happen so he came back to me and
we continued to screw for a few months than he said he wanted to get back into the dating game and we stopped, cause he is a relationship needer.
He is also a raging alcoholic with a gaping hole in his heart with no real life purpose who is probably damaged for the rest of his life. People with mental illness never get better unless they REALLY seriously do something about it.
Do you really wanna give a shit about someone who is that worthless? Come on you can't take those people seriously, they don't even take themselves seriously. Why should u?
Because bi polar can be treated so you don't have it. I have had issues too but you know what its called work your ass off to make them better. He sounds like a loser from what you have posted about him in the past.
I say with people like that who know whats wrong and don't care to change use them for what they have n than don't give shit. They don't give a shit why should you?

Your right, I was hanging on, but during the time I kept silent I was already feeling it hopeless, so I moved on to keep myself busy...I don't ever look for love anymore because I don't have a very good track record with that, although all my relationships were long lasting, I was the one to initiate the relationship, except with cancer so it felt really real. I do treat it as over especially now that there is confirmation of another girl,...I will no longer engage in communication with him.
I think that's the problem with romantics (you have one here, but experience has taken out the "hopeless" part of it). It's the "looking for love" thing.
Love doesn't just happen. Love takes work, patience, and understanding. Too often, people confuse infatuation with love. Loving someone doesn't always necessarily mean you will be with that person--sometimes you let go.
From personal experience, I was headed that way in one relationship, but she wanted too much too fast and I wasn't ready. I was honest about slowing things down and taking time, but got the "my way or the highway" spiel. So, we parted ways.
Found out a few years later that she had gotten married and smiled. She was happy, and I was happy for her. I still smile thinking about the good times, but it is just a happy memory.
The problem from the Cancer side is the holding on to those memories and letting them get in the way of the present and future. Its a hard lesson (especially) for a Cancer to learn. The subcontext is that Cancers don't tend to move on quickly, unless they're trying to extinguish a torch or there was something that prompted them to truly decide things are over.
In your case, I'd leave it behind. That Cancer boy has issues I think.
