I have an 8th house Scorpio Pluto as well. It isn't retrograde but I've personally found the "curse breaker" aspect of the placement to be mildly amusing.
How do you figure out what your karmic destiny is supposed to be?
You see people look for the destiny points... I am more talking about the influences we face from transits. As yes there are somethings that are destiny kinda... It is like if someone become a big drugy... that was not their karma or purpose in life. They may have had a chart that made them more likely to fall into that trap... but does not mean they had to...
Yes Pluto in the 8 house of Scorpio retrograde... Is a crazy influence if you have this... it is most likely the strongest influence in your chart... It is everything that Pluto as the ruler of Scorpio and the 8th house... retrograde makes it even more powerful. Of course Mars in 8th house would only add to that fire... I am lucky saturn and mars are in the 9th not the 8th but very much still in Scorpio. I have seen more people with placements in Scorpio that are strong though... Pluto in the 8th house has even it's own qualities that are different then other placements...
I do believe you are right about it being a curse breaker but I read that is a mark of a curse too... and we can brake it... Normally relating to mult marriages and splits... deformity... drug additions and so on...
Often from what I read it is from a grandmother... as both of mine are interesting and there have been a number of divorces in my family... I am happy to say that my sister and brother are still married to the same person... and I am not married...

@CC, Cancer children are too needy for attention and end up with emotional problems if not provided for well enough in that area. (my sister is a Cancer and my brother Cancer/Leo cusp - both way off the charts for me in emo land). Maybe you could deal as a Cancer yourself. That being said, DON'T have a Cap child!! You would not get the emotional reaction from your child that you would so crave and you'd probably sicken the child with your emo tendencies. Just sayin'
As for Virgo's, they'd probably at least keep their room clean and the rest of the house for that matter

Not that you mentioned it, but Libra sons aren't half bad. A little argumentative at times. Bright, can argue any side of a position (just to push buttons sometimes). My son was correcting/educating people by age 5 "Actually..." he'd start his sentences with (still does :/). He turned out all right, very cost conscious too, fairly practical in his spending and sensitive to what others are putting out for him (such as bdays or xmas). He is on the Virgo cusp though, so, maybe best of both worlds - just doesn't do a damn bit of cleaning

im getting tatted up again, going for a drinking binge, committing a few sexual assaults and some crimes. then im gonna wake up and not remember, then kick the stranger(s) sleeping next to me out of my bed.

My birthday is today 
I don't like the whole birthday expectation. It's like if you are not doing something fun, going out and getting drunk people look badly upon it. I have decided to act like my birthday is just a another day.
I had to work today. I get a mix bag. I would rather no one know or only the people I want to know find out but the higher manager who happens to be a self centered cancer wants to make a big deal of everyone's birthday during the month and brings a cake. It's all for show. I am on her team and she didn't say 2 words to me. This brings me to another point.. Does anyone else think cancers are envious or somewhat "haters"?
Anywho, I came to work with a positive attitude and then I get here and receive some genuine and some fake/passive aggressive birthday wishes. I would rather have nothing.
Work was slow so I ended up taking it upon myself to take a long lunch. I come back to a flower delivery from my mom
I scheduled a hot stone massage for this evening which I am looking forward to right now!
Happy birthday to all scorps this month! Some of us I love, some I cant stand lol but we're still "da best"!!
