I agree that this would apply to most, although there will always be exceptions; some people are just driven, regardless of circumstance.
Obviously, someone who is hungry is going to put a lot more effort into finding food than someone who is not.
But where one person would stop, once they've found something, another would keep going and capitalize on his skills.

Complete and full disclosure... and I mean this with all seriousness... it's my Hades moon in Scorpio what caused it. I mentioned it once in the moons forum, but the description of the Scorpio moon is almost spot on with what someone who has BPD feels emotionally. And add in the Pluto-moon aspect, and descriptions actually suggest upbringings and early events that are some of the most commonly purported causes of BPD. Also, my life path 11 fucked me over.
Those Hades moons lol. I've read some very interesting, if not spooky accurate, descriptions for my own as well. Do you have the square or opposition?
I haven't read much about the other lifepaths than my own but I would say the combination of 5 and some 1 attributes has lead me to get in a few pinches as well.

I think so.
I knew a kid who had a propensity for mental illness. After he had dropped acid a few times, it brought out his Schizophrenia. He went from seeming normal to being completely insane due to environmental factors awakening his latent mental sickness.click to expand
Yes. This can be one way that it is triggered. Also environmental stress or trauma can trigger a psychotic episode leading to a disorder. I worked with someone that had his symptoms triggered at age 14 (very rare), but he was diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder not schizophrenia. His symptoms were triggered by smoking weed, so it doesn't always have to be that heavy.

Its an interesting premise to me, and something that I do feel rings true, given things that I have observed with others in my life and my own struggles.
I believe in many different ways that the belief that one is secure ends up limiting potential, like you said TMV it removes drive to improve, to do more...it breeds complacency and that can lead to a whole host of issues...
I think the most prominent of those issues is delusion that comfort and safety is something that can exist in the long term and that it can't crumble beneath your fingertips with little to no action.
In a matter of speaking comfort is settling on an unstable foundation.
I think a great many parallels could drawn with typical American culture from this.

Aquas can be an energy drug for many people. Of course, you want to make sure that you don't piss off your energy supply...lol.
Even though we may want to be caught, we sometimes come off like we don't want to be, which is why I think some people go the extra mile to gain our approval & tame us.
They use so much energy to have us that it seems they wouldn't use half that patience on others.
Then once they realize that what we're looking for is def. different BUT simple, they're like oh, that was all I had to do??!!! lol
I tell people all the time...don't try to appeal through your looks, money or status...just be able to have a conversation, have a sense of humor & appreciate the fact that we appreciate smart people & you'll have us in the palm of your hand! lol
We are not like the others so I wonder if people realize that in order to tame something different, it's going to take "DIFFERENT" to stand out. Just so happens that our "different" is simple
