Can't say I feel the same way. Ending up in a relationship with a woman who wants me because she feels like she can't have me is my own personal nightmare and believe me it is exhausting. I went through that and I'm never going back.

I'm actually against dating out of your league. I feel like the challenge aspect of it is there, yes, but once the challenge phase wears off, I'm not sure if the relationship will have any real quality or anything in common, ya know?!
It'll always be 1 person who has an inflated ego b/c they know you're not in their league, while the other person is always desperately trying to tame you b/c they fear that 1 day the fact that they were never on your level is what will inevitably be the reason for the straying or the ending. So....do you think it's fair for a man to automatically get a DNA test on a child when it's 1st born, to remove all doubt, even if there is none? And even if they're married or in a serious relationship??!!
I say yes!! What's to hide?!
I get that asking for a test somewhat implies lack of trust, BUT let's be real, there's nothing wrong with protecting yourself just to be sure!! And as long as the guy brings it up in a civil, non-accusatory way, I don't understand why some women would completely flip & start acting crazy!
A little confusion, disappointment & anger is to be expected, but full flown defensiveness? Hmmmm that's the kind of stuff that'd make a man who never even questioned it before, start to question it now!
I still say YES, get them tested!

Yes, I do agree that settling is wrong, BUT to some extent doesn't settling mean that we are choosing to be content with something even if it's not the best thing for us? If that's the definition, then doesn't that mean that we're all settling simply b/c we're choosing to be content with what we have, EVEN IF there may be someone better out there for us?!
Doesn't mean that we actually want what else is out there. I'm speaking from a technical-definition kinda philosophy.
Being too content breeds settling persay things go south in the relationship. Never being content at all breeds the "Grass is greener" mentality, which could cause your great relationship/what you have, to go south.
