It's tough for a single dad who works away that much to have a personal life. And even more tough on relationships.
I think you should evaluate for yourself whether this is something you're willing to work around. While he's at work, you're going to be alone for three weeks out of the month. So the week he is home subtract 75% for time with his son. Unless you work nights and can see him while the boy is at school, you're looking at seeing him for only 1-2 days a month. Is that enough for you?
Don't worry about what he is or isn't doing, but look at it from YOUR prespective and determine if this is actually something YOU want.
wow, never of looked at like that, when you look at it that way its a huge eye opener. the kicker is that i work two jobs one day and one nite (weekends only) which makes it equally as hard. so what might be one or two days, if they fall on a weekend turn into no days.
well now i have a lot to think about while i am at work tonite. But it works out so perfectly cause when i am actually in a full blown relationship i don't want to see the person all the time, no even close to that. Guess i am just confused myself on what i want, and what i need.

I'm a Cancer and it's been my observation (also VERY hammered into me by close Gemmini and Scorpio friends) that I'm a huge flirt. I'll admit that I absolutely love the attention, as long as it doesn't get out of hand and I have some control over it, also, if its not too serious and is harmless. If I think someone might be getting too serious or attached and I don't want them then I'll lay on the ice pretty fast. I've also been told that I pretty much exude a sexual aura without trying and without meaning to. I don't dress like a slut or anything, and I know what I've been told is true, but I can't quite put my finger on the how or why of it....it just is there and most of the time I'm unaware of it and how it effects others around me. Most of the Cancers I know do this to some degree. We flirt, sometimes shamelessly, we love it and it's usually just for fun (so for those that are worried that your Cancer love will stray, probably not....unless you give us reason to).
As for the question of how to keep your Cancer love flame from flickering, adore that person, faults and all. Let them FEEL how much you love and adore them! We hate being taken for granted. We have just enough insecurity in us to start worrying that we aren't loved if our efforts go unnoticed or we feel they aren't appreciated. The more you notice and praise us the more we give. We'll give our heart, mind and soul for anyone we love but trample on us in any way (and it takes a lot of long time abuse to get us to this point) and we will burn to ashes any love we ever felt for you and then turn our back forever. And we never forget. EVER.
