I guess I don't see it from the same view as you Mr.D. I see it as people trying to blend in to be accepted as a person. You see it as ethnics crossing some line to become something other then they are (making sure I understand where you are coming from ?) What is this line? Why does there need to be some line? We are all the same, human beings!

Ah, I'm thinking you are mis-interpreting the woman's "performance". I don't think there are any exchanges of body fluids between her and the audience...lol...and they don't touch the scarf or wear the damn thing.
While I know this, the idea that someone fluids are out in the open (which is what I should have wrote), still gives people the willies.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, no, but I could entertain the idea that this may be true for a few. I think it would have more to do with how one was socialized to appreciate the body and it's function than anything else. I know some woman that completely isolate themselves when they menstruate. Sleep in a separate room, etc during this time of the month, where other women have sex during this time. Being comfortable or even appreciating a piece like this has a lot more to do with how comfortable people are with the human body I think vs losing touch with one's "earthy woman-ness". As well, given her stated objective and her target audience (people that are repulsed by the vulva), not "getting" her piece is not about gender. Moreover, do you (the general you) really think that this will suddenly open people's eyes to appreciate the female vagina more because she pulling string out of her crotch? I'm not buying it and I'd respect her more if she simply stated, "I love my p*ssy, my juices rock and I wanted to make a piece to celebrate that" then this bogus rationale.

An phoenix, he is sexual. We have awesome sexually compatibility. But i think i just want it more than him. More often anyway. But thats not only what i mean by physical stuff.
