WHOA, this is a really old post but I think it's a good one 
Okay, most people think I am full of **you know what** when I state 'LOOKS DO NOT MATTER TO ME when it comes to getting involved with someone.' Why Do I say this? Because it is necessary to look MUCH DEEPER when there is potential for a relationship.
In my daily life, when I encounter a guys ... I don't pay attention to their looks. What I do observe is their manner and the way they carry themselves -- I observe them discretely because I don't want them knowing that I am analyzing them When guys start conversations with me, I closely observe their approach and I try to pay attention to the vibes they give off.
Lately, the vibes are negative so I am friendly be will not give any indication that I am interested.
However, I have picked up positive energy too
NOW THIS IS WHERE MY ATTRACTION FACTOR COMES INTO PLAY If a man's personality is appealing or intriguing, then they start becoming ATTRACTIVE! I instantly start to pay attention to their looks -- such as eyes, lips, nose, chin, hair, body, everything! If a man is big and stocky or long and skinny ... whether he's wearing jeans and a tee shirt or a two-piece suit ... if a man personality is attractive then HE instantly becomes attractive.
That cancer guy (that I had feelings for) was 5'9" and he weighed 150 lb. I am currently interested to a man who is quite bigger than him. LOL, I guess my preference in looks are very diverse because I am both a thinker and a feeler -- as a result my brain and my heart work well with each other in determining my involvements
It's just the way my brain operates now, I don't know why ??? When I was younger, how I determined attractiveness then is in totally contrast to how I determine it now ???
