So, I'm finally ready to move on and have decided to possibly pursue something with someone I've known for 8 years. He's a friend and former instructor of mine from my time in the Air Force. It was always extremely professional/platonic between us until recently, when he started communicating to me that he wanted to pursue a relationship with me. He's a Virgo, by the way.
The thing is...he's very much into hanging out with the guys and their wives/girlfriends...and that wouldn't be a problem if I was a typical, but I'm not. Unlike them, I don't watch reality tv(or much tv in general, for that matter),I don't give a flying fuck about the latest on Miley Cyrus or Kim Kardashian, and I can't subscribe to people living beyond their means to aesthetically appeal to the commercialized masses. I'm not a stay-at-home mom/wife who has nothing better to do than sit there with a group of women I have nothing in common with and partake in meaningless banter that is rapidly killing my braincells.
I'm a loner...who enjoys mental stimulation if I'm forced to interact with others. If I can't have that,I'm good with sitting off by myself and having a beer. The kind of women I like being around and I mesh well with are also forward-thinking,ambitious (but family oriented),intellectual types that are morally sound without being overly religious.
I'm pretty sure this will be a point of contention later on down the line if we decide to give it a go. But I was wondering if other Cap females have this problem...becoming easily annoyed with other women?

I'm on Eharmony, though I only check it every couple of months. I met a great guy on there...extremely nice, attentive, and educated (doctor and Air Force commissioned officer). He was 10 yrs my senior, but I didn't mind that much.
He was constantly asking why I seemed detached and uninterested, yet gave him enough communication to keep him hanging around.

It depends. Sometimes I eat my food fast and other times I take my time. I used to suck on my food while playing with my ear lobe, super slow eater.
