@peaceloveandhappiness..I had the same concern for things getting distant. He told me in his mind he constantly evaluates people and he looks for frequency...if I'm ok most of the time he will bypass the rare instance I'm not. He probably weighed the 6 years we've been friends against my one mistake and chose the friendship. He's probably the most rational person I know.
