Financial problems are one of the biggest causes for family problems ... so quitting your job is probably not the answer, IF your income is needed to run the household.
Since your house is out of order, and you aren't home during the day ... the logical assumption is that your children are running amuck. And that is something that is suppose to taught to them at an early age. Of course, I'm assuming it's the children.
Both parents working opposite shifts, to where one is home all the time, usually works wonders for children who need constant guidance.
