TPP, there are so many but here are a few more.... Franz Fanon Black Skin White Masks and The Wretched of the Earth and Poet Aime Cesaire and Frederick Douglass his words and struggles....even more inspiring to me than others who are more popular (this is not to discount anyone, everyone has a place). You might feel the same once you begin to read about his life and work and to imagine those he influenced......
Harriet Tubman, Susan B Anthony, bell hooks.....A must is the "Africanana" eds Appiah and Gates Jr helps as a guide to begin acquiring knowledge about people and events concerning African descendants...

Sooooooo many amazing voices that can help you find your own... smile and the library is a truly great source and if they don't have a particular book they should be able to transfer it from another branch or get it permanently for their own collection. I still have access to the library of my alma mater so you might be able to get a general membership to the local college even if you didn't attend that particular one smile
