We've got our warts, but hospitality isn't one of them. Even my avi reflects this.

Well, you saw the best the state has to offer then. That entire Smoky Mountain area of East Tennessee is beautiful.

I was driving home today from the grocery store in an area not close to where I live because essentially i went to return something at a department store.
As I was driving home i spotted this psychic sign outside of a small building. Something piqued my interest. I kept driving, but decided to turn around and go.
So I did.i went mostly because of the confusion ive had regarding my career and i wanted to see what insight i could get.
I told the psychic there that i just had one question so she made a deal with me which i agreed with since it was my first time here and i was a little skeptical.
She was on point. I asked my question and in a few seconds with no props she just looked at me and started saying all these things that rang true, and which ive heard before.
overall, she basically told me ive been going around in circles for the past 2 years, which is true. i dont understand why, but my life has been quite stagnant for some time. ive tried to be positive and change my attitude. ive pushed and continued to put in effort to change my current state with no avail.
she told me that i basically need a mind body and soul cleanse. of course her service would be way too much money and i am again skeptical of putting money into something that may just be ridiculous.
the thing is i know i need some kind of a cleanse. has anyone done anything like this before? any insight on how I can 'cleanse' myself? any insight would be helpful

Me! I have Hashimoto's and am IR! Been on metformin plus my thyroid meds for about 4 years now. My sugar levels are what a normal persons are and have been stabilized for about 2 years now. I started having the weight loss after getting on the correct medications. As well as started a work out program. Cute Gem you mentioned earlier that you where on meds for a short time? Was that due to your thyroid? If so , the doc should have kept you on the hormone replacement:.,it's a lifetime thing unfortunaly. Definitely go get a doctors opinion!
I have lost over 100lbs since I found out what was wrong medically and wish I didn't wait until I was older. I had the rapid weight gain in my 30's and thought it was age an depression..it wasn't! Please get tested!
Wynter, you sagittarius individuals need to open a thread for open conversation, being a sag cap cusp, I'm feeling quite sag these days. Maybe those canadian geese didn't have offspring nearby, because the ones I seen were viscious to the core. People were fearful .

You don't see the artists winning these awards, rejecting the honor on the basis of an objection to racial separatism--separatism isn't even the right phrase IMO--more like exclusivity. It does not bar them from winning general awards such as Grammys, Oscars(etc)either.

Which explains your support of racial separatism.

And if my "liberal guilt" made me think I was superior by virtue of skin-tone, I'd agree with the notion you introduced--that the minorities said award ceremonies are geared at, play along because none of them NOTICE the impure implication behind winning a race/culture-specific award, and merely accept for the sake of good PR.
