I was watching a episode of Supernatural where whenever a person said, "I just want the truth" and that is exactly what they got. One man was describing to another man his wife's aging and how he was becoming disgusted with her wrinkling sagging skin.
I'm sure that he would never tell his wife how he really felt. Or, would he? I guess somethings are better said when walking out the door, or trying to. Never arguing? For some reason, this would make me uneasy.
I guess the show, "Who the (Bleep) Did I Marry," and other shows with a similar themes, come to mind... and, real life situations from friends and family. A friend had the most appeasing husband. She found out a Pandora's box of misdeeds after her divorce to include that he slept with a friend in their bed a week before there wedding. She found out 25 years after the fact. The funny thing is the reasons why she got a divorce paled in comparison to what she found out afterward.

I'm happy my experience has shed some light on your situation_???. TF connection is a wake up call; to help us be our better selves, and to help us find our true purpose in life. It helps us to do away with old habits that no longer serve us, and don't fit in our lives.
This connection above all is a spiritual bond between to souls; to help each other shed the old; and bring in the new. To helps us grow in every way possible. It's also a never ending learning experience. This is what the connection is about; it's beyond the romantic; once we see it as such, you won't begin to take in the lessons the connection has for you.
Whatever level you two are at ; at the moment, know it's meant to be this way for a reason. It's meant to help you see your true self. Not yourself you show others who are looking from the outside in; your true self that you fear showing others; the you that you might hide.
What does this mean? Many of us deny who we really are ; even to ourselves.
For example; being manipulative (that was one of mine; so using this example as one). I would never admit this to myself, because I hated it if I saw it happening to others. But I use to do it. Then I began asking myself why? Well because I hate losing control; so I would control the outcome of a lot of things through subtly manipulating people, whether it was emotionally, or mentally. However, now I'm not afraid to admit it, because I'm at piece with it. I stopped trying to control things, because no matter what, the end result isn't up to me; it's up to the universe.
If something is meant for me; then it's meant for me. If it isn't; then it isn't. I take the lessons that I learned; thank god for my blessings and move on.
The more you begin looking with in yourself; you will soon see that you will slowly begin to accept a lot of things about the connection and yourself.

I tried the low carb thing once.
I about died.
Right now I'm in the phase where I have to retrain my brain to stop "thinking" I'm hungry.
I did it once...I can do it again!
*looks around office chair for any fragments of willpower that may have fallen on floor*

Congratulations on the progress you've made,though.
Willpower is not my forte.
If I don't keep myself occupied I will start snacking for sport-- bored = more cookies for me. :/

the low carb thing is AWESOME.
sucks the first two weeks. you would trade your right arm, left big toe and a knee cap for a piece of bread
if you stay on it....it's dreamy.
however, no cheat days or else you have to start the (ketosis) induction all over again because your body gets really irritated from you teasing it with carbs and taking them away again. It has to be a life style change.
I still do it....but I screw up constantly because tea without cow's milk should be illegal. That soy crap and even coconut milk (which are acceptable carb levels) just don't cut it. I've needed a lot of tea during this winterclick to expand
I'm wondering how bad the first two weeks are--
If they lead to "dreamy" (which sounds like a natural high/more energy?) this is worth consideration.
The weight loss is great, but I've been reading on the long-term benefits and (done properly) they are nothing to sneeze at.

Have you tried almond milk? I tried it at one of those hippie coffee shops and it's pretty good.
Takes more but it beats the alternatives.
