You must get grounded FIRST before spilling your feelings out like that. There really can't be anxiety and fear around saying how you feel b/c if it is it will throw a man off, he'll feel bad, guilty and not really know what to do or know what you need which causes a disconnect.
If you want to know where you stand then get grounded first so you can feel secure with whatever his answer is.
If it bothers you that much ask him, if he's vague with you then he's being selfish, you deserve to know if he's willing to do a long distance relationship but don't cross that bridge until you definitively know he's leaving, meaning he has a set date, month, day on his calendar to leave.

I've lived in 4 states and probably 12 different cities/towns.
You should have never did friends with benefits. I notice a lot of women do that, then expect the guy to care for them. You should have waited til you was in a relationship to have sex. At least then, that guy would have respected you more. Trust me on this, if a Cancer guy really cares about you, you WILL know. You won't even have to question our love. If he truly desires you, he'll make an effort to be in your life. For now on, no more sex until a solid relationship is formed 1st. That's for all the women who see this. Don't get a guy your cookie, if he ain't worked for it for at least 2months. So if he values you, he won't disappear like that. Plus would you even want someone who does that women?? There is no way this year can get any worse for me. No way. (yes God, I am aware you have a sense of humor when it comes to me, how about you stop fucking me over for once?)
-First Aura dies..I still haven't come to terms with it..am numb over it and I still think she took a plane to the Bahamas or something.
-Then I flood the 2 apartments underneath me..luckily I know some plumbing so the disaster was mainly contained in my apartment.
-Then my laptop bursts into flames..cannot be fixed, borrowed the Aries's laptop. No money for this shit.
-Then this Gemini guy friend backstabs me..I should've seen it coming but granted him acces into my life because he's smack dab on the Taurus cusp. Can you tell how biased I am with Geminis? I keep them at arms' lengths.
-Then my mom attacks her boyfriend with a knife..and gets admitted to hospital. They set her free, she pulls some shit again, still in the hospital and still refusing treatment.
Yeah, I don't even want to know what Life has in store for me this year. The only way is up.

-My apartment got flooded, carpets and walls ruined.
-Capricorn love interest disappeared on me.
-Mum had a life threatening abdominal blood cloth. Thought I'm not going to see her again (she lives 2000 miles away).
-New Aqua love dumped me after 6 blissful months--HEARTBROKEN!.
-Got the news that the department I work in will be closed down soon.
-My Aries boss got annoyed with me and made my life difficult for a few months.
Things are much better now:
-My apartment got an expensive makeover, out of my pocket (still no contents insurance...pondering...nah!).
-Mum got well and visited with my dad.
-Dating a Gemini for the past months.
-Got to keep my working headquarter, under new administration.
-Aries boss treats me well again.
Soon Uranus will hit my Aries north lunar node though.......More changes on the horizon?

I would say communicate your wants for more with him, but him avoiding me at a party would put a halt to that thought immediately. I wish I would sleep with someone MORE THAN ONCE, and show up somewhere he acts like he doesn??t know me. His number would likely get deleted right then and there. I read your story and I??m confused on where you sent mixed signals? It almost seems like you??re taking the rap for a guy that got busy with you and is now fading away. When a guy truly likes you he doesn??t act like that, and it doesn??t do you any good to baby him or make excuses for him just because he??s a cancer. Just saying.

He didn't ignore me completely at the party, we hung out like normal, it's just he was acting very distant and not like his usual self. What I am confused with is if he is not interested, why is he still initiating conversations? /maybe he wants to be just friends/ but in my experience, guys usually just completely disappear if they don't want to sleep with you again. And if he did just want to be that why was he clingy towards me after the first time? (Just to get me in bed again?)
And in my opinion my mixed signals were >> being platonic friends with him (he made a lot of moves on me when we were friends and I kept rejecting him), then suddenly sleeping with him, then pulling away, then sleeping with him again, then now that he's the one pulling away, i feel like im the one pursuing, etc. and its an ongoing thing.
I do know what you mean that I can't make excuses for him cuz he's cancer. and i do have to take that into account, I'm just at a loss. And I feel like I don't want to let it go cuz he's a really great guy and I really felt like he felt the same way towards me. We were pretty good friends too.. // I want to communicate my wants with him and tell him how i feel etc, but I find it really hard to bring it up, especially just over text, and i'm not sure how to go about seeing him in person for these types of things.
