... people used to keep their animals on the thatched roofs of their cottages. When it rained heavily, the thatching became very perilous and slippery, causing the cats and dogs to fall off!

Actually, it is very much a feminist post.
The implications in this post basically are to even out the dating field, as many women are falling prey to old societal norms in which the guy mostly benefits. Women are expected to deal with far much more bullshit than men, which gives guys the ultimate edge in dating a good portion of the time.
Anything "pro female" in regard to this is purely for her protection in an uneven social construct that STILL benefits to men to this day.
However, none of this implies that women are the better gender or that they should be above men in dating- just that they protect themselves from the lame bullshit they're led to believe.
That said, nowhere in this post is it implied that women are superior or above men in dating, that merely they need to behave accordingly if things are to play out EVENLY in dating.
And that's what feminism really is- the belief of equality between the sexes, not dominance of one over the other.
Feminism isn't crazy bra burners who are all about girl power. Try closing the book you preach from, and open up a book that'll actually educate you on current issues, kthx.
Although I see that you understand what my post is about and I also agree with the definition of feminism, I disagree with feminist ideology. The ideology is all about men and women being equal in all aspects of life (career, home) whereas I'm a traditionalist in the sense that I believe that the word "equality" in such a context is flawed. I feel both men and women are complementary to one another with their given roles and their anatomy. My post is not at all about feminism. My post's underlying principle is that women should have self-respect, hence the title of the post. Asking for respect in a relationship has nothing to do with feminism. The reason we are having these present problems is because there is a blur in the roles both genders are to play. Women think they are just like men or close enough. That's moronic to even contemplate.click to expand

Yeah help Caps achieve their goals or support them. Offer that emotional support and you'll keep em around a lot longer
That is literally depressing in itself
in time when you mature mentally you'll know why and how shallow that is [ although it is true ]
Basically money and goals > You
You will never be above them and no one is equal to them and money and accomplishing goals will always be above you....... - Capricorn
this is why I don't like em at all...
"Reality is cruel and practical. You have to take care of yourself first. It is only when you took care of yourself, you will have the ability to take care of others."
Something similar to this quote came from a Cap.
" It is only when you took care of yourself, you will have the ability to take care of others. "
This is what I hear from caps but the funny thing is? when they "Can" take care of themselves and others.. they ONLY take care of themselves...
