This is an update to the Pennsylvania high school stabbings. In another article this kid's parents reaction was total shock. I'm not buying that..
It is easy to speak from high horse when you have NO idea what goes on in their household....
As a parent you can give your child a happy home, provide em training in music and sports. You have the ability to choose where you wanna make a living and where your child will got to school (hopefully IT IS a good enough school to support their academic performance)
As for making em into good people? Parents CAN NOT do this....A child behaviour at home differs from how they behave at school. Child can be an ANGEL at home (without the swearing, stealing and violence) but could be a TOTAL devil at school. Sadly all too parents go by what see at home and hardly dig deeper to find out what going on OUTSIDE home in this economy its getting tougher with both parents working 2 jobs and kids coming home to a nanny...click to expand
Jesus...why do some people in DXP place me on high wooden horse? But...ok, given your devil's advocate side, I suppose SOME situations are indeed how you portray them to be. Let's just say, until we know the truth we see both sides and shared each aspect of them.

Igg sorry but you are doing way too much talking with a Leo. What I'm trying to say is, sweeping gestures, flying to Greece would be a sweeping gesture.
You want her to move with you and I can almost guarantee she is waiting for you to come and get her before she gives up her entire life for you.
You have to think about it from her point of view. She spent 3 great months with you, she took a chance and she probably doesn't want to be the only one taking chances.
What are you willing to give up in return to have her in Canada?
You see she isn't going to make the sacrifice of losing the life she's grew up in just for the possibility. In her mind maybe 3 months is all there is.
She NEED to know you are just as committed, even more committed than she is or why should she go out on a limb, give up her life on a guy that's sitting at home just waiting for her to make a decision.
You're the man, you decide, you make the decision, you put yourself out there, decide you want her and need her and you're willing to be a damn fool to demonstrate it or just forget it and move on.

There's a child involved here.
I honestly can't understand how a 40 something male can get involved with you, knowing you're pregnant, see that through with you, then say he sees himself as being single. It is an incredibly ridiculous thing to do.
I'm not going to be judgemental over you because I have no idea how difficult it must be facing being a single parent, but I really think you need to take a look at whether having someone so strongly involved with your child who you're in a "sorta" relationship with is a good thing.
RichCap, agree on that in reg w my child,,,i actually just had that kind of thoughts the other night, was crying pretty heavily realising that this Man that I've been trusting so much, relying so much, is just not gonna realise my dream to have a full family, as he is not commited, and oh my being so naive, he might very likely have girls/flings on the side!!!!! which is so frustrating
((also i understood that i cant take any irresponsible steps, gotta have my self respect at height, and be pragmatic about stuff and people around me. ??_and frankly was about to withdraw out of this,,,,, still wasnt that brave,,,and chose the comfy way (at this moment)-to sleep in at his place..

I honestly went with my gut on that and thought it was the strongest pattern. I am sure there were others as well.
