Like letting go of someone you love but you are not giving up on them just moving on? What does that even mean?
If you were in my life I will always love you in a way and have your back, unless you tried to kill me or smthg.
I won't go there again probably but I will carry a fond memory because we did share a lot of happy times together. There's no point in dismissing that.

Hahah aw come on I'm really not that bad! But I've been leaning towards ignoring him back...I was like that at the beginning, made him chase me, and he definitely did, so I agree with you on that. What about the love thing? Think he meant it when he said it?
I did a different kind of running. I saw the problems (his controlling behavior) and made excuses for him, pretended it wasn't so bad, lied to everyone to cover for his actions. It a long time before I hit a point of being completely fed up and not willing to do that for him or to live that way.
