It is too bad so many women struggle with self-worth. It took me many years to get to a place of self-acceptance and approval.
I sincerely believe both men and women are happy when the woman in the relationship is happy and can just extend her love of self to him. It takes a lot of the pressure to please her out of the relationship.
Men love happy women and I don't think you can be happy without loving yourself.

I was having deep thoughts on this phenomenon this morning-- the "commitmentphobic" Cap. man, and as I have been saying so many times, it's not a Cap. thing, but then I came up with a Venn diagram in my mind, which I cannot draw out but picture this...
The big circle in the center are "commitmentphobic men", and then around the big circle you have 12 smaller circles... each small circle represents a zodiac sign, "Aries men"... "Pisces men"... the small circles only overlap onto the center large circle partway... Kind of forming a flower, with these 12 "petals" . If you know Venn diagrams, you picture what I'm talking about.
Not ALL Aries men, Pisces men... CAP MEN... are commitment phobic, but EACH sign has its fair share of 'em, and the huge behavioral trait of the commitmentphobic is the POOFING and the "curtain call"...coming back around, after "it's safe" and the expectations/intensity/claustrophobia have subsided.
The behavior pattern characterization is nothing new and not my own thought, but the flower visual form is my "deep thought" for the day! LOL It's more like a poisonous, withering, ugly weed flower though! LOL LOL

ex from highschool.. yeah highschool... LMAO he's been chasin me since then. I've been saying NO since then.. he's trying to get me to go to Jamaica with him early July. He was a player in highschool.. and it was kinda crazy.. anyway.. he wants to do this.. but i don't know.. there's so much involved in this. He's been with this one chick since i left in highschool. My best friend said he was only with her because she reminded him of me. She acts like me and everything. They have a kid together. They are no longer together.. so he is really pursuing me now. He has been this whole time but i wouldn't humor it cuz he had this woman. I don't want a relationship with him.. BUT if i look back on when we were together.. well it's so easy to want to say yes.. just cuz i feel like i actually deserve it with all i went through back then. BUT LOL that was YEARS and YEARS ago.. if i go, i'll be opening up a can of worms.. natural expectations of him taking me on a trip. UGH

I suppose you could ask that same question of any coastal city...yes, we have a drain system, but in cases of Flash Floods, torrential rain comes down like buckets, filling up the drains quick....the streets are clear this morning, those pictures you see resulted in rainfall that occured within 2 hours.
