I am a Libran and recently cut off someone who I really really really liked. I would go far as to say I was falling for. I cut it off because I liked him so so much but I didn't feel he liked me as much. Maybe he did, maybe he didn't, either way, I ended it because I didn't want to get hurt.
I know some people have advised you there maybe someone else in the picture but in my situation there was no one but him. It was very early days and I could sense him wanting to hurry into a relationship and get closer but I couldn't go at that pace. He was sending mixed signals, wanting a relationship but my instincts were telling me something was off.
A tiny part of me regrets it, but actually it made me realise I need complete security that the other is mine and only mine, if not, then they need someone who has a slower pace.
The things your Libran said to you about how she felt sounds genuine. Why would she meet you and waste your time if she didn't like you? Maybe she reflected on how things would work long term and was being mature and cautious stating she is not ready for a relationship.
For me, I will only commit when I know 100% they adore me back, any less then I start to take it slower and if they cant slow down.

But seriously...I think of myself as being open and comfortable talking about my personal life (that doesn't include talking about my family or friends) with someone relatively new to me, but people told me that I seem very reserved(armored)at first and that only after some time I really open up. (my Cancer Moon?) Guess that before I used to be more open, but got burned, so I am much more careful now.
I like fair exchange of info basically. The more I am comfortable with the person the more I am relaxed talking about my life.

There is no really an established deal breaker - it is not about the question itself really, but it's more from whom the question came and does it fit the whole context and the flow of the conversation. Is it an appropriate question for that time, place...the way it is being asked. I observe/scan/listen to a person first, pick up his/her vibe and basically intuitively decide is that person "suitable" for answering the question. Do I feel like answering or not.
I am pretty sure there were times I found myself discouraged to answer more but I don't recall now the reason why.
One thing I know for sure is that I hate when a guy I just met, that I see is showing interest in me in some way and started some basic conversation with asks me my FB account. I say no and he is offended. That I find irritating and I am pretty sure I'll cut the conversation right then and there.
