With a gem you've got to find that balance of being independent and giving him the type of attention he craves. I couldn't do it and one of the complaints my ex had was I didn't give him enough attention. I was too independent and he didn't feel needed.

Had my son, then finished my degree which lead to big bucks and a strong career. Yeah, it worked out for me very well.

It didn't. I did have my son and start back to school in a year. But it was a domino effect that lasted until 2011 of very lucky and prosperous time.

I've only had the other way around happen to me. Funtime at my place all day every day, but they would very rarely invite me to theirs. The most noticable ones: Scorpio, Libra, Cancer (females). I once asked my Cancer friend why she never invites me to her place when she does stuff. Literally ignored my question and continued talking about something irrelevant. I asked again. Ignored again. Asked why she's ignoring my question. Ignored. LOL.

Haha, well, I guess I did get my answer in a Cancer kinda way. But my intention really wasn't to annoy her, I was just curious because she absolutely loved hanging out at my place, so it couldn't be me. I kept asking because, if anything, she was the one annoying me with the whole pretending that she doesn't hear my question thing. I'm not a huge fan of people playing stupid. Nowdays I would just let stuff like that pass, though.

All I was getting at is everyone is scared. No one wants to be rejected. you're scared he'll get scared off, he's scared you'll get scared off. That's why you wait for him to call, and he's afraid to call too soon. It's all a power game rooted in fear.
I think, you gotta decide to give it a shot or not to. Then follow through. I don't understand "the game" and don't try to play it. I stay positive in general and go about my day. When I find someone who captivates me like that, I won't take it lightly. Doesn't mean you loose control when you feel Lust, it's much more than that. I'm fine where I'm at and happy. If it's right it'll be right. I don't know how it'll happen or work, but it will. That's the hopeless (foolish) romantic I was cursed with.

I am =)) You are purely right. This is the first time I am experiencing it and yeah, I am lost. There are problems too, not about our love of course because we had a good bonding in the last 2 years. Yet once a completely new situation/ experience comes, this bonding will be affected. I am overthink I can say but yeah, hmmm @_@

Oh, I didn't finish my thought.
On the other hand, if I was too dependent, he would have been turned off by that, too. He didn't want me up his butt or clingy/needy either.
Just hard to find that balance. But you can do this, I know you can!!
