The only place where I've heard of Cancers and Leos hooking up is on dxp. It's really weird the stuff I'm reading regarding this unusual pairing...
The traditional personality traits of Cancer men turn me off completely.. A man isn't supposed to have that many feminine traits. imo Leo woman want either an alpha male or an 'airy intellectual' type of guy, but not a soft emotional guy. Also Leos want challenge, Cancers are the least challenging to a Leo. They're too available, too easy to attract and not very outgoing.

our Leo aunty who lives on the farm married a Pisces man, late february born -- and he's not the airy intellectual type naturally as he is the hardworking alpha male type: he looks very manly, and she likes the simple life too. So many different types out there you know...
also, my leo neighbor, she is married to a strange type of man.... can't pinpoint him, but he's certainly very weird. Very friendly but just weird. They seem very happy together -- they go on vacations a couple times a year to Italy and France alot.

Sounds like a very insecure woman who feels she might LOSE her husband if he doesn't come home when he's supposed to.
or she doesn't feel comfortable behind the wheel or literally doesn't know how to drive. some immigrants come from areas where most of the local populace relies on public transportation, bicycle or walking to get from place-to-place and only the wealthiest have the luxury of owning personal vehicles.
BUT
having the husband drive because she's scared he might enjoy himself(GASP!)without her there, or so much as LOOK at another woman is pretty ridiculous & overbearing.
