I am posting out of concern for a friend...

You have the patience of a saint. I probably would have had much more than a serious talk with her by now. I probably would have pushed back HARD. She has zero right to treat anyone that way, much less someone for whom she should have respect for being more experienced.
P.S. I was born and raised in The Bible Belt and understood the phrase. It's not used much anymore.

Guys can be really dumb about this stuff because they just don't get sucked into drama as easily sometimes. They don't really see how it can be an issue long term because of this.
Also, curious, exactly what degrees do you have?
