I was questioning both lol. But yeah I definitely get where you're coming from. And yes the strong do need people too. Sometimes when men see you as one of the guys, they forget that you are still one of the girls .
Which now makes me wonder...was there an extra layer of interest there aside from friendship that provoked such protectiveness from my male friends. I don't know. My assumption was always just that they saw me like a sister. But I always assume men aren't interested unless they blatantly tell me they are.
Sad thing is my own brother has done similar to what you mentioned, left me to fend for myself, while looking after his female friend. And dang, I'm family!!And his explanation is he figured I'd be okay. Really?! FYI he's younger so he's use to me looking out for him since we were kids. I suppose he forgets I'm still a woman too. SMH.

example I can use as this just happened this weekend and sparked my.. bluntness yesterday.
invited to the UNLV football game by friend, there is 3 of us(we all work together) with a group of his normal tailgaters. inside was pretty crazy and rowdy, a few fights broke out nearby. we all go to get drinks/use restrooms etc.. i'm left to fend for myself trying to get through the crowds, even though I have vocalized how much anxiety I get in crowds (I don't typically go to big events because of it). i see him making sure she gets back and through the crowds okay. yes it hurt because not only are my feelings invested but for fucks sake i'm a girl too and would have appreciated the protection..she didn't ask for this, it was more like what you mentioned PVAF, he just did it.
It was also jokingly suggested it was my job to make sure this drunk old guy stayed away from her...shes in her 20's i'm in my 40s dunno if that played a role...but I am not some fucking babysitter! LOL
so my opinions at the moment are a tad clouded
If this is the Libra then yes Libras can be f*****g clueless sometimes.click to expand
