Tia and Lady....I can understand what you are saying and I feel like you are just jumping to a lot on assumptions about who I am....I don't know where you get your ideas, but you know nothing aobut me. I was born in war and lived in war as a child, I heard machine guns and explosions at night, went to school and saw buildings shot up and blood stains on the streets. I lost an uncle and a cousin to the violence of war. Until my father (as sb's father did) decided to give up all his worldly belogings and bring his family to the states. I was homeless and very poor as a single adult and worked my own way through two college degrees, learned to speak english and overcome minority prejudices. I was exploited as a intelligent, hard working imigrant. I don't resent it, but it is the way it works when you are a stranger in a strange land. I survived and succeeded. I thank my father for the insight in getting us to the land of opportunity and believe me....this is the best place for me....I choose to live here and while I may not agree with our current president, I am still proud to be a citizen of such a wonderful place. I know we as a nation are guilty of many crimes and poor judgement, but I still choose to be apart of it.
Before you go shooting your accusations about who I am....think twice before you sound foolish by so many unrealistic assumptions.
I don't have a problem with who you are and have not attacked you as a person, I just think you are not being realistic to think you can make war go away, despite the blood shed and despair it causes. Those are not new consequences of war, you are not the first people in the history of mankind that want war to go away for good, but somehow, war is still used to resolve extreme conflict. Sometimes war makes sense and sometimes it doesn't, but war is apart of humanity.
