i remember being a kid in the 80's and it didn't get THIS hot....this type of heat started in the mid 90's (at least here)
i talked to some older people and they all told me it never got this hot before the 90's...and it gets colder in the winter now...California's weather used to be really mild, now its very much at extremes during the seasons...

personally i don't mind my mother being over protective...i know she cares about me alot, and wants to make sure i'm alright..even if it is annoing..Shes my mother, she gave me life, she treated me wonderful ..so who cares if her being over protective is a little annoing. I'd rather have that anyday then a mother who didn't give a shyt about me.
