He texted me the other night I guess because he hadn't really heard from me and we chatted for a while. We went to the ballgame last night and had a blast! He said he has a gift for me so he actually bought a pair of white tennis shoes, and painted our home team's name on them to wear last night! The shoes are super cute. So sweet of him! We stayed up till 2 in the morning talking. We are hanging out again this weekend. I guess he was just busy last weekend but he seemed really interested and engaged last night with me. I guess I was freaking out about nothing.
I didn't bring up us or what we are or anything but we got so many plans already, like every weekend this month and he is already talking about doing something with me on Halloween, both our favorite holiday, so looks like he is sticking around for a while. I feel better now. :-)

I can't cosign on the 'second fiddle' comment because I've never personally felt that way. However, I can speak to the baby mama drama.....
I dated one man with three kids.....two different mothers. The older child was out of state....the other two were local. One night I went over to his house for dinner on a day where he wasn't scheduled to have his kids. When I left that night, the tires on my car were slashed. Not going to deal with that more than once.
I have a friend who has four children, he has custody of two. He was dating a woman with a child and they had planned to take all the kids to "Medieval Times"....a local novelty restaurant. Baby Mama #2 pulled her son out at the last minute while saying...."You aren't going to have that bitch and her bastard child around my kid and I hope you all die in a car accident on the way there."......I won't deal with that bullshit either.click to expand

1. You have nobody to share them with when you are successful and meet benchmarks or milestones. You might say...."I don't have to!".....but it is kind of taxing because then when you do, it's considered bragging because nobody knows what was behind it.
I can understand this, but I guess I tend to avoid explaining why I'm so happy when these moments happen. I tend to just say "hey let's hang out and do something fun!" The person may not know why I'm in a great mood, but they're helping me enjoy the high I'm on. This serves another purpose as well. I don't like compliments, so I don't what to hear a whole lot of "great job, I'm so proud...." Meh. Let's just enjoy our time together.

This has happened a lot and I tend just ask people for help in a indirect way. I would often talk to my ex Virgo and ask him about courage, finding strength or I'll ask him about ways to overcome a problem, but always in an abstract way. He just thought we were having thoughtful conversations about life where I was taking in what I needed to keep me moving. He might ask on occasion where my questions were coming from and I'd just say "eh, sometimes I just find it hard to keep going" but nothing more than that.
I tend to ask about all life question in that way. Habit I guess.
If so, what stood out about that person that made you think they were their sign?
