In control and controlling are different things, and having a fit and storming out over an innocent conversation is not a man thats in control but a controlling child thats throwing a tantrum. Thats not a man that could lead me personally.

Seriously? This is a serious issue here. Again read ALLLL of her posts. Not just the part that makes you feel all warm and fuzzy about your ex. Because with your ex it probably stopped there because he wasn't controlling. In THIS situation from what she is telling us It's not about tits hanging out like you said previously. He is not simply wanting his woman to be respectful. It started with that and has escalated to more. And it won't stop. HE IS CONTROLLING! And men like this actually KILL women who stay. You are way overracting. He doesnt want her to wear skimpy clothing or talk to strange me. Hes protecting her because he seems to know the innate nature of other men. Nothing here says shes in danger thats ridiculous

Well that's a pessimistic view of looking at it, but I agree to a certain extent. People are in our lives for a reason, some for a "minute, others for a lifetime. It just depends and doesn't mean it was a waste of time or we were "used". We gain wisdom, experience, etc. Love will come knocking on your door when you least expect it
I agree! If I didn't go through all that pain in the past I wouldn't be the strong woman I am today ( without the rain there would be no rainbow )

Also, my fat granny lived to be 98 and was active up until she died. My skinny granny lived to be 80 and could barely walk. Not saying being overweight keeps you alive longer, just making an observation.

A bit of update: Today he was out and wanted to have dinner again, I needed to work at home so I said I was busy. He came home with dinner and stayed with me and helped me for 4 hours when I was working (we are both musicians). After I finished, I told him I was tired and he totally dragged me out for dancing, now it is 7am in the morning, we are just back, hugged like friends and went to our rooms. All night he was staring at me, got mad at me because some guy started chatting me?, told me he always wants to go out to such events with me because I am very chilled and fun to be with? We had great time BUT the whole time this libra forum was in my mind: ))) and I promised myself not to get confused and I am still dedicated to accept that we are friends. Cant wait for this holiday!
