I know when things get extremely intense in my life (or head), I feel like there is NOBOBDY out there that can understand. So I hide out (or supress my emotions and feelings) until I can work things out for myself.

You also have to learn that just because someone doesn't want a relationship with you ... it has very little to do with you or your worth. It is usually a compatibility issue, even if you don't see it as such at the time. In the long run, you wouldn't be happy with someone you aren't compatible with anyway. Sometimes there is a reason to be thankful for unanswered prayers.

To each their own...I personally don't date co-workers and have rarely been involved with a friend. That's why the initial attraction to a woman is important - so I know how to approach the situation.
Personally, most guys I know would have a hard time keeping the distance necessary for a successful friendship if they are also interested romantically in that woman. Eventually, that line gets crossed and it gets awkward.
