I have been crushing on this aquarius girl for like 4 months now and at first we were talking a lot and she went out of her way to care for me and i was happy and everything. I thought that maybe this time this bond could grow without all the sadness. I was wrong. She left for camp for the weekend during the end of November and then everything slowed down. We stopped talking to each other daily, sometimes we just dont talk at all. Although I asked her to hangout with me individually and she did during the end of december, but we dont talk to each other when we see each other at school. I text her from time to time and so times her replies are really "conversation-ending". We were supposed to hang out this weekend but she cancelled it and decided to stay home and chill instead of seeing me. Is this a good sign

I actually haven't really gone on any typical dates. I don't like or do dates, they make me uncomfortable af.
But I do totally understand what you mean about acting before thinking! Although I have more of an issue with talking before thinking when my emotions are being effected.
Can't say that i find that comfortable the idea of dating either, based on my past experiences - it felt more like "playing pretend". I like to try new things - and i guess that's how i end-up going on couple of dates - back when was a teen (at 14 on a group date, at 17 with my first crush and 3 others that were more random). If i remember correctly, we didn't have a local dating culture - so we end-up using some examples from movies as inspiration. Didn't knew what to expect - but one thing is for sure - it didn't feel that natural to me... or at least - that role - wasn't in tune - with who i was at that time. Maybe, if i would have tried something... more unusual - far from the typical examples (food for thought), who knows... This days, i prefer to "hang out". No dating ritual, no expectations - just hanging out and trying to have some fun.
Recently she would take the initiative to ask about me and how things were, but then she wouldnt reply a simple good luck text. :/ I am so confused by this aquarius girl and being the cancer that I am I feel like I cant take not talking to her anymore and I have just been missing her too much. :

I don't think that's related to Mercury, our mind is a filter - a toll for expression, but what it expresses - is usually tied to the Sun, Moon and ASC (same goes for the other personal planets). It's the Messenger. After all, Mercury was - the messenger of the Gods.
There are more facets to who we are as a whole, so - it's normal to feel that way. Also, the way people behave in public compared to the way they behave in the privacy of their home - can be so different - that - if you record a person and the way it behaves in this two environments (public vs private) - in most cases, the results might give the impression of two different individuals. Which shouldn't be surprising - if we're to take in consideration the meaning of the word Person - as in - Mask. Society is a big stage where everybody's an actor. If you spend couple of years in seclusion (discontented from society) - and take a new glance at the world afterwards - this part (that - everybody's playing a role) - will be quite clear... Not only that - some people - don't seem that comfortable in their own skins - and they try to mimic others... which makes them look so fake - so unnatural, it's like a parody. But hey, maybe it's not necessary to spend some time disconnected from society to see that - just take in consideration what i said - and give it a go - take a new glance at the world around you - at people.... Might be quite obvious - if you're aware of this details.
