You've gotta love French arrogance sometimes. It's such a breath of fresh air to the stagnant cloud of Political Correctness which is shoved down people's throats sometimes.
I'm sure the smoking ban will be imlpemented in Frnace without too much public resistance. It was surprisingly well accepted here in Ireland. Smokers now just go outside if they want to have a cigarette and a lot of pubs restaurants have set up special smoking "courtyards" where people can smoke as it's tachnically outdoors.
They would have to try Prime. I mean people here were determined not to adhere to the new law, but they were fined ?30 if they were caught, and that happened a lot in the first few months. Businesses are extre cautious because they can be fined up to ?2000. I think most people accept it now, though.

I said I want real friends, not a slew of people I can't place my trust in; but, the only way to get/gain trust is with time, and going out on a limb, I COULD go clubbing with them, if I by I met them there, but I don't just TRUST anyone over a couple of drinks; that's foolish, and that is something uncharacteristic of me; I never accused water signs in the WHOLE to be liars, and now your just spewing your guilt over other people....why? I mess everything up when things semm to be going just a little to well. I guess im a pessimist, i just cant seem to accept that things can sometimes be good just for the sake of it. I create a drama just so that i can justify (to myself), that relationships aren't for me..sob.
yes, im aware of the financial influence these companies have..I wouldnt grudge a country that mass of income, esp the developing ones..i just hate smoking!! I was also making the point that my fellow city-dwellers aint looking for it either!! Shhhh
