Speculating makes you crazy.
I think the best way to deal with that is calling him out for that. That can have many reasons, maybe he needs to distance to do his assessing thing,
or he is scared or he is part of some cia experiment or he has a second secret life as a hitman or he knows that you have feelings but he doesnt whatever. Just tell him that he can have his space and you dont pressure him but he should at least vanish with some sort of explanation.

My life has been utter shit. My birth chart is so bad that it seems hopeless.
I cannot get a real job. I am a 28-year-old male working as a god damn secretary. Mind you, I am actually very smart; it's just that I have an English degree and it's worthless.
I live at home with my mom and step-dad. My sister died at age 25 of a rare disease called trisomy-8. My brother also died at age 25 of a rare and aggressive cancer called uveal melanoma. Our father was a fucking bastard. He was an abusive alcoholic and he abandoned us when we were still young.
Just to recap:
-28
-English degree
-Cannot get job (have had about a dozen unsuccessful interviews over the past few years)
-Working as secretary
-Not enough money to live on own
-Brother and sister both dead from rare diseases
-Piece of shit father
-Bullied constantly throughout life
-Lots of physical injuries and surgeries
-No girlfriend for five years now (I am a fucking secretary living at home)
-Have tried to commit suicide before
-Bitter Atheist who hates "god"--who doesn't exist
Birth info - July 13th, 1988 at 5:00am in Bridgeport, Connecticut (USA)
Look up my chart and tell me what you think. Look at that T-Square between Mercury, Uranus/Saturn, and Mars.
