I had to reread your post...it blows me away each time i read it.
I get some comments/questions..
"Age doesn't really matter @ all. She is 21 and that is an appropriate age to start dating older men/women. If she is open with you to her MOTHER then believe me she is not struggling with any issues about age either and neither is her mother "as it looks like".
Absolutely what I thought. Just a note:the mother is a Leo. The whole family are leos & aries....she's the virgo.

I figure one must focus a little of both, ya. Look ahead for potential obstacles & such but always be prepared and in the right place and aries charm.

I think I did that so maybe she would leak it to the virgo in a very non chalante way. early in the game so that the virgo would know but stay watching. And I would do the complete opposite, you know, play hard to get but stoking her out with cool stuff meaning hook her up...I never act like I like her because of all her brothers around and everything.

that's an interesting theory, Haffo...i'm going to have to give it some thought to see if i agree. i'd never thought about that. yay!
i've got a Cancer ascendant as well, with a Gemini sun...from what i can tell this takes the edge off of the "Chatty Cathy Syndrome" of Gemini and i tend to withdraw if i'm at all uncomfortable with my surroundings. that's the most prominent effect i see from it...and i seem to be drawn toward water, generally, whereas i have a massive fear of heights. hehe.
