Posted by ExplicitA buddy of mine is an Aries Rising- Cap sun/moon
Any Ascendant sign has the potential to be attractive depending on the Sun sign it's partnered with.
Overall, I think the least attractive Ascendant signs are Aries, Capricorn, Aquarius and Leo.
If the Ascendant is Aries and the Sun sign is Capricorn, it could be messy. Very long, overly strong features. But let's say your Sun sign is Cancer and your Ascendant is Aries. That would work since Cancer's don't usually have very structured faces and they kind of have delicate features, so throw that Aries on the Ascendant and it balances the features out.
Leo Ascendants, to me, tend to have very over-exaggerated features. Huge lips, very strong brows, but not very prominent jawlines like an Aries Rising would have. So the features aren't very balanced. Very Mars-like features which I don't find attractive. But partner it with a Taurus Sun and it could be magic.
Aquarius Risings to me just have very eccentric, weird looking faces. Not all but a lot of them. They would need a strong Gemini, Libra or Taurus Sun to combat that.
Posted by caIiberYou're welcome! It was something to see that connection in my relative's chart too! And that talk with them that I mentioned happened very recently.Posted by CopperDovethank you!!! ^^; wow that's interesting!!!! that's pretty much how i work now..... my new thing is to cover my ears (i swear i hate myself sometimes) and say "i need a break for 5 minutes" lolol i have to...... if i dont step away or warn people, i freakin explode. not a good look at all but i know my triggers and how to calm down..... people just need to give me the space or suffer the consequences.... i dont know how else to navigate it :/ nothing else works.Posted by caIiberAll the best with the new job! Great that you chose it knowing things about yourself so it has the potential to work out better. Environment is huge for me with both work and where I live. The wrong fit can feel terrible.
@copperdove yes, i'm actually learning to make my life decisions around my personality from now on as a matter of fact.. this is all a very recent lesson for me lol i'm starting a job tomorrow that hopefully will not cause too much friction, as i've specifically chosen this one for the environment this time and not for any beneficial resources (which it also has).
my reason for the 180 degree shift in the way i go about life has a lot to do with my inability to control myself emotionally these days. i'm not going to fight it anymore, but embrace it and find the best ways to avoid blowing my top or being out of control. if that means, for example, i work a very quiet mediocre job that just pays the bills, than that's A-ok with me. what's most important is that i am not suffering on any level.
edit: if i am suffering on any level, i take others down with me. no good. :c
After I read your comments, I thought about a relative of mine who can take others down when they're upset about something. They're better about it than they used to be, fortunately. I just had a look at their chart and they have both moon and Pluto in the 8th house! The degrees are too far apart to be considered conjunct by most astrologers (12 degrees) but it's interesting to see this!
I was glad the other day when they told me they needed to end a conversation because they were feeling tense. It had nothing to do with me. In the past they probably would not have ended that talk and would have been increasingly difficult to interact with, getting critical of me out of seemingly nowhere.click to expand
Posted by CopperDoveBut one thing that I hate about this aspect is that it allows the person to "want to dig deeper" behind "problems"... So sometimes I try to figure out the real reason why someone is the way they are.. & in the end I wind up being hurt... Plus the Pisces in me mixed with my moon in the 6th & this aspect.. Just make things pretty intense..Posted by DeeLovesRedI can relate too. Sometimes one of the positives for me is sharing what I've gone through with someone who is going through a similar thing so they can maybe feel some hope that they'll get through it too.Posted by CopperDove"Moon-Pluto has the capacity to enter in everything dark, and can take negative or painful emotional experiences and turn them into something positive."Posted by DeeLovesRed
I also have moon trine pluto....
Do you agree with descriptions of the aspect?
I can truly say I relate to this.. I've been through some stuff.. I mean some serious things.. & I can truly say with time and maturity.. I am a better person todayclick to expand
Posted by SkittyI see your point for sure. I think it can give qualities to the planets and luminaries that modifies them. It could also explain things in synastry - someone with an Aries moon, for example, might be attracted to someone who has Aries qualities with their sun even though it isn't an Aries sun.Posted by CopperDoveI read that they are replicators of the Scorpio moon tooPosted by Explicit
What are "Hades Moons?" Like Scorpio Moons?
Apparently Scorpio moon, moon in the 8th house, and moon aspecting Pluto are all Hades moons.
What i don't understand is why the same isn't applicable for for other planets outside of moon.
Like if someone is Sun conjunct Mars- Wouldn"t it give the person an Aries sun?
Or Venus conjunct Saturn- Cap Venus
I mean- the variations are endless -but you see my point
Anyone have any theories?click to expand
