I agree with this to an extent..as I believe at times it can do. However, If the guy has abusive tendencies, you would have seen the signs before moving in..if something as small as a phone call can trigger a violent reaction, that should flash a lightbulb over your head at some stage..Jealousy is sweet up to a point..if somebody faffs around like a headless chicken everytime a stressful situation arises, you should know what your getting yourself into..

oh sure. eventually we get over stuff, but it takes much longer than a normal person. obviously, it varies from person to person... but once our self esteem is damaged--especially if it's lower than a normal cancers'--then it takes a while for it to get back up. reasoning just doesn't work; it just takes time
