Photography - mostly of clouds, watches and women. I don't shoot women though, just edit pictures.
Cycling - road more than anything.
Design - women's heels, graphic design, CAD, 3D. Still will always feel like I've never figured out AutoCAD etc. completely. Knowing CAD design in shoes is just about the most useless thing ever, but I enjoy it.
Really curious about the women's heels. I spent 2 hours last night looking at custom made women's footwear options online (several companies, though mostly in the UK) even though I can't justify the expense right now. Gotta dream a little. lolclick to expand
Close to 15 years ago I had a leather coat custom made for me and I went through many options for leather, finally choosing a cow hide from Italy that would hold up better than lamb that women tend to go for to reduce bulk - I wanted beauty + longevity. With some leather clothing items it makes sense to minimize bulk, particularly for women who usually don't want to look bigger than they are, but a coat like I was getting, no. The designer was so taken with the leather I chose (he hadn't worked with it before) that he made a pair of leather jeans for himself with it. Because he was male, bulk wasn't of so much of a concern to him aesthetically.

No doubt the designer's jeans held up well too. They looked really good on him - not tight and kind of sleazy like leather pants often can often look, IMO, thanks to the thicker material, how he designed the jeans, and the fact that the leather has a matte finish, not shiny.
