Lots of orange juice....like half a gallon or more if you can take it. That's what I do if I even think a bug is coming on. Works for me. Anything that boosts the immune system. Vitamin c is your friend.
Since you're already there...you may want to try oregano oil. Heard that was a good fix for pneumonia so don't see why it wouldn't work for other respiratory infections.click to expand
You should order the oregano oil...those kind of infections can last for weeks.
It can probably be delivered to you in a day or 2...I'd look at reviews to see which brand is the best quality.
Maybe try to find something else with vitamin c that's not so hard on the stomach.

This is what I do
Herbal Tea/Hot Shower for bronchitis, flu, cold, allergies, sinuses
Hot Toddies. Will help you break stuff up, sweat out fevers, clear sinuses up. But I'd recommend not drinking too much while you are on medication.
Jalapenos. Won't recommend it for you if you have Acid Reflux. But a little heat to clear the nose.
Stomach bug.. Mix gatorade with carbonated water and tablespoon of ginger. Get rehydrated and settle your stomach. Might not taste all that great, but it is bearable to drink.
