I've had cisis' of faith, bouts in my life that left me stunned and shocked with god; religion had nothing to do with it; it was simply a matter of self-perception. How I took the bad, and looked at it affected my faith....ya know, 'why did this happen to me?' 'I didn't ask for this....' sometimes, shit happens as arbitrary as that sounds; I don't believe personally that there ever is a 'fate/plan' or a 'set pattern' for life....defeats the purpose of free-will if you ask me.
