I almost slept with a virgin about a year ago...I was traveling to Ca. (aynone else see a theme here?) and met up with a long time friend, so were getting into it on her bed and she lets loose this little line:

Now we were friends who talk pretty frequently and I knew she was head over heals for me so I used discretion and turned her down. It may have been fun and there was A LOT of passion between us but I can guarentee virgin sex isn't worth the emotional carpet bombing that would have later come when she realized it was just sex, and I wasn't moving to california, and I didn't want a long distance relationship. Hell, we were never a couple, ever, no reasonable way she could have thought so and when she found out about the girl I was seeing a couple of months later I get this phone call that resulted in a cannon shot of freshly loaded emotional baggage that had been saved up for 20 years. This, this is why God invented the "end" button on my cell phone.

It's funny that you freaked out about the marriage thing. In my experience, if one person in the relationship is going to be the most likely to jump the gun on the marriage thing it is the scorp, especially of the female flavor.
