extent of his drug use until it became a little too
much to hide.
Good that you cut all communication, though.

Those "people" that you're referring to do not have your best interest at heart. It's as simple as that. They are what's known as "enablers," and are manipulative to the point where you (and even them) don't realize it - using you as a constant source of entertainment, not to laugh with you, but at you for how naive you are.
You are doing yourself a disservice by being taken advantage of so easily over the internet. And if you respect yourself enough, which I doubt you do, you'll leave DXP temporarily for your own good and not stay for another 3 months or so, just because "too many people will miss you."
Snap out of it already.
There are evil forces in the world that are out there, preying on unknowing individuals such as yourself, who insist on being blissfully ignorant and pathogically optimistic (or "goofy" as you put it). They leech on and tear down people of your kind, because you naively yield to all their requests...up until a point where you feel depleted, and unable to serve their purpose, only to later find yourself deserted.

I left of course, he knew my kids only by sight, there was no involvement because I don't allow that to happen. It's definitely been a lesson for me, he's not a bad man..just so sad that he's going through it.
